"It was a fairly simple process. My husband and I did this a few weeks ago. Super easy and we got it super quick. I see people saying they had to prove this or that or send in documents. Idk if its because of the type of payment owed back but neither my husband or myself had to do that. We typed in our social and they sent us an email to let us know it was accepted. They even have like a tracking for it so you can see where you are in the process."

"I'm a newly-elected Clerk-Treasurer and found a payment for almost $3600 that belonged to the town. I applied for it and was informed by email just today they my claim was approved. I did have to scan in a could of documents but it was so easy. 7yI not only am I pleased that I found it but it was my duty, first and foremost, to recover any funds due to the town as those are public funds. I'm not sure why the previous CT apparently didn't check it but I'm glad I did!"
